ABOUT US
MISSION & HISTORY.
Heroes Hub is a charitable organization that serves as a dedicated resource center, providing essential items to law enforcement personnel, front liners, first responders, school social workers, foster care agencies and community collaborative organizations in their work to aid individuals and families in crisis situations.
Heroes Hub was created to provide a centralized location in South Florida where our First Responders and those on the front lines can go to obtain the essential items they need when serving and providing for the most vulnerable population of people. As our heroes go out every day to rescue those in crisis situations, to care for the elderly, to aid the sick, to assist the homeless and to protect our youth, we are here to serve them to provide the essential resources they need to aid those that need it the most.
Heroes Hub was formed by three non-profit leaders and founders: Margi Bre, The Legacy Closet (President); Tracie Catalano, Mary Ann's Foster Closet (Director of Broward County); Evangeline Clarke, Serving with GRACE, Inc. (Vice President).
We now consist of a board and team that includes 6 nonprofit founders and leaders, to also include:
-
Frederick W. Mclendon (Founder of his own foundation and our President of Miami-Dade)
-
Brittany Wolfe (Founder of The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank and our Director of Social Services)
-
Dwayne Wolfe (Co-Founder of The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank and our Chief Operating Officer)
Collectively, we bring over 30 years of nonprofit experience together to create one large initiative.
Heroes Hub operates as the umbrella of these nonprofit agencies, and with our combined resources, we’re able to service the Broward County and South Florida community on a larger scale.
